Las Capuchinas Architectural Complex
Iglesia de las CapuchinasTake a seat and admire the magnificence of this church and architectural complex, construction of which began in 1743. It’s also known as Rinconada de las Capuchinas.
The architectural complex located downtown was built in colonial times and is comprised of the Las Capuchinas Church (Templo de Capuchinas), the Cultural Center, and the Agustín Rivera House & Museum (Museo Casa Agustín Rivera). Each hold sacred relics and charming details in their design.
The adjacent monastery now houses the Casa de la Cultura cultural center.
