Mayá, Lost Mayan Kingdom, is a water park in Mahahual, Quintana Roo, that promises a thrilling adventure with its breathtaking zip lines, heart-pounding hanging bridges, and electrifying slides.

Mayá offers a variety of aerial and water activities for the whole family. Here are the park’s attractions:

Zip line Circuit: Two circuits, Tucán and Águila, include zip line rides, hanging bridges, and water landings.

Zip Coaster Kukulcán: Imagine a roller coaster where you dangle from a harness instead of sitting in a seat. Stretching almost a quarter of a mile, Kukulcán Zip Coaster flies you over the jungle with all the twists and turns of a roller coaster.

Sacrificio Maya: Free fall jump  78.7 feet, with only a waist harness, to unleash your inner warrior and be accepted by the Maya tribe.

Slide Area: The pyramid-shaped structure in the park’s center houses eight water slides of varying heights and designs, both open and closed, ranging from 39.3 to 75.4 feet.

Río Jaguar: Drift along with the current of this magical lazy river, enjoying the sounds of nature in Mahahual.

Árbol and Cascada Azul Pools: Two laid-back pools to relax in after a day filled with adrenaline.

Isla de Monos: With slides and miniature pools, Monkey Island is a children’s area reserved just for the little ones.

The park also features a restaurant, changing rooms, lockers, and photo and souvenir shops.

Getting There

The water park is about a 5-minute walk from the port of Costa Maya and a 10-minute drive from downtown Mahahual. If you’re in this coastal city, you can take a taxi to Mayá.

Hours and Costs

Mayá is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The tickets cost $1,980 pesos per person.
