Santiago History Museum

This history museum is housed in the former Palacio Municipal, or Town Hall. It is just the place to get the scoop on fascinating stories and legends. A few steps farther and you’ll be in the Contemporary Art Museum (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo). This museum exhibits innovative art and preserves the visual arts. Plus, there is the recently created Popular Arts Museum (Museo de Arte Popular) that displays an extensive collection of folk art from around Mexico.
