Museum of the City of Veracruz

This museum is located in a baroque-style building from the middle of the 19th century. It has two floors: on the ground floor, there are five halls that tell of the arrival of Spanish culture, its foundation, conquest, revolution and independence. These halls also exhibit archeological pieces from the Totonac and Olmec cultures. On the first floor, you will learn about the state’s art forms and traditions.
