Exhibiting religious art, this museum is sometimes called the Museo de Arte Sacro. It is located on a former convent—a structure built by Tarahumara laborers with thick adobe and stone walls. Its galleries hold an interesting collection of sacred art paintings from the 16th to 18th centuries, gathered from old Rarámuri places of worship. Local women staff the museum.
