Masks, anthropomorphic figurines, necklaces, earmuffs, and the funerary trousseau that accompanied the leader Pakal in his tomb are a few examples of what is exhibited in the Mesoamerican Jade Museum. More than 300 replicas of objects belonging to various Mesoamerican cultures are displayed here. The objective is to highlight the value that for centuries, and even until before the arrival of the Spanish, this precious stone had. There is a jewelry store inside the museum, as well as a workshop where these pieces are created.
