Cholula Regional Museum

This museum provides a detailed look at the history and spirit of Cholollan. It has eight exhibition rooms that tell of the geological origin and archeological remains of Valle de Cholula. It take an in-depth look at the history of the largest pyramid foundation in the world, which marked the end of the pre-Hispanic era and the birth of a new culture. There are items related to Pueblan ceramics, alebrijes, and video mapping projections based on Mexico as a World Heritage Site. But the best treasure to be found at this museum is the Lienzo de Quauhquechollan, in which the Quauhquecholtec people gave their account of the Spanish conquest.
