San Juan Bautista Parish Church

This church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist was built in the center of Huasca in the 16th century by Augustine monks. Its facade is simple; the most striking feature is an image of Saint Michael the Archangel that was donated by Pedro Romero de Terreros.

The interior holds several altarpieces with notable paintings of saints and scenes from the life of Jesus.
