Plaza Zaragoza and Surrounding Areas
Wandering through the streets, you will see houses with red-tile rooftops and outside them, you will see artisans and luthiers (stringed instrument makers) making their products.
Start your journey in Plaza Zaragoza; walk along the marble sidewalks of the square and admire its Moorish kiosk. Along its edge you will find the Iglesia de San Cristóbal, a church with an English clock from 1886; the Capilla de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, a chapel finished in 1786, with its dome and cupola made with coral stone; the Plazuela Agustín Lara, as well as the Municipal Palace building with its architecture that is characteristic of the whole of Tlacotalpan.
