“The Pearl of Papaloapan”, as this beautiful Veracruz city is known, is memorable for its cozy feel, with its beautiful colonnades and coastal-style houses, as well as its barred windows and ample patios.

Declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO, Tlacotalpan was founded in the 16th century and is home to romantic squares, riverside walkways and the cheerful festivity of Fiesta de la Candelaria.
