Basilica of Our Lady of Solitude
Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la SoledadThis church boasts an altarpiece dedicated to the Virgin of Solitude decorated with gold and pastel hues.
It is the home of the patron saint of the people from Jerez. The atrium of Our Lady of Solitude Basilica is adorned with orange trees and has a lobed archway of carved limestone as its entrance. Don’t miss the main altarpiece made of veined pink marble and the side altars which are prime examples of the neoclassical style.
