The construction of this church, which used orange quarry stone (more commonly known in the region as “pigeon blood”), began in 1950 and wasn’t completed until 2000. This pseudo-gothic architectural complex has a central tower, an ensemble of stained glass windows and a sculpture of Our Lady of Fatima which is 12-foot-tall and weighs approximately two tonnes.
