Along its paths, the Universidad del Mar Botanical Garden has various areas featuring the use and natural habitat of different plant species. It is a place to observe and learn about plants–like a living museum.
Focusing on plant and animal species in the Oaxacan coastal region, they conduct research as well as conservation and educational activities, sharing their knowledge with society.
