Callejón de los Sapos Street Market
The Callejón de los Sapos (Alley of the Toads) is a must see on any trip to Puebla City.
The street that gave its name to the Callejón de los Sapos (yes, there were toads) due to the pooling waters of the rising San Francisco River in colonial days is today a traditional place for taking walks.
It’s visually very pleasing to walk through the callejón with its colorful homes. On your way, you’ll find everything you might expect at a tianguis (outdoor market): handicrafts, antiques, food and drink, music, artwork, and collectible coins.
Come and discover the delights you’ll only find in Puebla.
