International Mariachi and Charrería Festival

The aim of this event is to recover and conserve Mexican and Guadalajaran traditions like charrería and mariachi. The festival starts with a parade of over 16 floats and the shows of different mariachi groups including Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, Los Camperos, and Mariachi de América.

The National Charro Championship features as part of the event, where the top six nationally ranked teams compete with a show of suertes charras (maneuvers).
