Patron Saint Celebration in Cuitzeo

This is one of the town’s most important celebrations as it honors Cuitzeo’s patron saint. Starting the day before, you can hear the firecrackers and fireworks, while on the 22nd a special mass is held, the image of Saint Mary Magdalene is carried through the streets, and a small fair is put on.
