Independence Day Celebrations
Independence Day celebrations are very important in Huichapan. From the 13th to the 16th of September, a number of events take place, such as the Cabalgata Charra, a horse ride honoring the rodeo-like sport of charrería. There are also cultural events, food shows, parades, fireworks, dance presentations, traditional Mexican dishes, and a handicraft expo. This Fiestas Patrias event is perfect for celebrating with families, friends, or a partner and for discovering all this Magical Town has to offer.
