Buy Local Handicrafts and Delicacies
Linares’ leather saddlery objects have a well-deserved reputation, along with wooden and reed handicrafts. As far as candy goes, no one should visit Linares without snapping up glorias (a milk-based candy like caramels), marquetas (similar to glorias, but spread flat), dried meat, chorizo sausage, and powdery hojarasca cookies. Every Saturday, a handicraft market is held in Plaza Puerta del Sol offering regional products and handicrafts.
