Walk Across La Bufa Bridge
Although several mining centers developed along the bottom of the canyons, none compares to the mineral wealth of the Barranca de Batopilas. The veins in La Bufa and Batopilas became world-famous for the lodes of minerals that lay within.
As a result of the bounty, there remain several architecturally important buildings, such as mansions and haciendas that date from the 17th and 19th centuries. Walk across La Bufa bridge, and you will be in one of the deepest points of the canyon.
