Discover the Towns of Tlaquepaque, Tonalá, and Zapopan

Vete de compras con un local

If you are visiting Guadalajara, we recommend hopping over to the neighboring towns of Tlaquepaque and Tonalá. They are the perfect spots to pick up decorative handicrafts made with ceramic and earthenware. There you will find the Andador Independencia pedestrian mall lined with shops, galleries, cafés, ice cream shops, the Casa del Artesano (Artisan Center), and the Museo Regional de la Cerámica (Regional Ceramics Museum). On the other hand, Zapopan is known for its colonial-era structures, such as its Basilica, Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Zapopan, which holds the first religious images created just after the conquest of the New World, called La Generala, La Madre de Jalisco, and La Reina.
