Cenote Siete Bocas: A Subterranean Network of Cenotes

Located at km 15.5 along the route from  Puerto Morelos to the town of Leona Vicario, Siete Bocas is revered as one of Puerto Morelos‘ finest cenote sinkholes and among the most beautiful in the entire region.

Seven Entrances to Wonder 

You can choose among the seven different entrances, which will determine the type of initial experience. You can descend into the cenote by several exciting options: rappel down with a rope, dive in headfirst, or take the stairs. Once inside, navigating between entrances proves rewarding. The aquatic route is perfect for snorkeling or diving, revealing distinct tunnels adorned with stalagmites and stalactites of varying sizes. 

The subterranean river system, known as Sistema Sac Actun, interconnects with all entrances or “bocas.” The journey amid crystalline waters and the labyrinthine rock formations invites exploration through a play of light and shadow, revealing captivating contrasts within the caverns.

Entrance fees are $300 MXN pesos for adults and $250 MXN pesos for children. Operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
