Aldama Market

Its real name is Mercado Aldama, but everyone calls it Mercado de la Soledad in honor of the Virgen de la Soledad (The Virgin of Solitude), patron saint of merchants. It’s one of León’s most traditional markets, ideal for buying handicrafts and leather products at very good prices. We remind you that this space is the home of one of León’s most popular traditions: the tour of the Virgen de la Soledad through the city’s public markets.
