Estero del Soldado Lagoon

This exceptionally beautiful and biologically diverse lagoon covering 322 hectares became a State Nature Reserve in 2006. Around 230 of its hectares make up the Zona Núcleo (heart) including the body of the lagoon and the shoreline area. Hop in a kayak to truly enjoy the estuary. You can also bike around it and watch the birds that nest in the area, such as falcons, owls, and eagles.
