Guaymas

Known as “La Perla del Mar de Cortés” (the Pearl of the Gulf of California), this city has a centuries-old legacy due to the presence of the Guaymas, Seri, and Yaqui people. It was the site of Jesuit mission San José de Guaymas, founded by Eusebio Kino and José María Salvatierra.
