Former Hacienda of Nogueras

This was once a sugarcane hacienda which dates back to the 17th century, and was built by Juan de Noguera. It is the oldest hacienda in the state. Now it houses a museum that exhibits work by Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo. The museum’s collection is based around archeological pieces, some of which can be dated back to between 600 and 500 A.D., as well as handicrafts such as clay pots, ceramic items, pieces of furniture and kitchen furnishings.
