Main Square

On Sundays, while the band plays, men and women stroll from one side of Jardín Morelos to the other, passing by the quarry stone kiosk at its center. It’s a large garden, inhabited by ash trees and broad-leaf privets. This is where many of Nochistlán’s most important monuments are located, one of them, a stone slab commemorating the foundation of the first Guadalajara, faces the Municipal Presidency (Town Hall).
