Los Muertos Pier and Observation Deck

Redesigned by architect José de Jesús Torres Vega, the Muelle de los Muertos was part of the Downtown Puerto Vallarta renovation project. Began in 2013, this pier is 2,182 feet long and includes a pedestrian walk, an entry area, a catwalk, a circular observation deck, and a jetty. On top of it all, it features dramatic lighting and urban gym equipment for use by visitors. This is also a departure point for boats or water taxis to the beaches of Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit. Without a doubt, it’s one of those romantic places that you can’t miss if you come with your significant other.
