Located in a mansion dating from the mid-17th century, this mining and history museum preserves some of the tools used by miners, as well as the most famous legends about the gavilleros and other revolutionaries who passed through the town. Two great ones are the stories of Heraclio Bernal, Sinaloa’s own “Robin Hood,” and Luis Pérez Meza, who composed the song El sauce y la palma (The Willow and the Palm).
