Bullring
Plaza de Toros
Tlaxcala’s Bullring was erected in the 18th century and is the oldest of its kind—that continues to be in use—in the Americas. Nowadays it is called Jorge “El Ranchero” Aguilar, in honor of the state’s great bullfighter. It can hold 2,500 spectators and stands in the city’s Historic Center.
