Vasco de Quiroga Square
Take in the beauty of this square encircled by trees and colonial-era buildings whose harmonious lines call up the past.
Wander through this gorgeous square filled with green lawns and ringed by white-walled mansions with red tile roofs—it may well be one of the country’s most beautiful plazas. Across the way stand several historic buildings including the House of Gertrudis Bocanegra and the Palacio de Huitziméngari mansions. There are also restaurants and cafés.
