Festival of Lights

This festival of lights is an exceptional work by French artist Xavier de Richemont. It is a magnificent projection of lights on the church that is the most emblematic work of Mexican baroque architecture in San Luis Potosí: the front of the Templo del Carmen.

Richemont’s light show spotlights the details and delicate limestone shapes on the building. Both bright and sober colors breathe life into Biblical scenes. The show—which starts promptly at 8 pm—narrates the history of the city, its cultural development, and its icons through light and sound.
