Procession of Silence
Procesión del SilencioHeld on Good Friday, this silent procession is made up of hundreds of people dressed in Sevillian style walking through the streets with candles and religious images. The rhythm of drums and trumpets is otherworldly, and the lighting and flickering flames complete the surreal experience. The procession moves through the streets downtown from the Teatro de la Paz and the Museo de la Máscara, around the San Francisco and Aranzazú squares, and winds up in front of the Cathedral.
