Dance Danzón in Plazuela de Zaragoza

Plazuela-Zaragoza-mazatlan-danzon

Built in 1854, Zaragoza square is on land donated by Juan Guzmán and dedicated to General Ignacio Zaragoza. For many years, the square was enlivened by numerous flower stands, however today the scene is set by shady trees and a gazebo that is the site of intense chess and domino games. Every Thursday, its gardens become the meeting place for couples who gather to dance to the rhythms of danzón and salsa. In addition to relaxing, you can participate in the activities held here, such as yoga, conversation clubs, drawing and painting workshops, and Friday lotería games.
