Danzón Dancing at Night

El-Danzón-en-el-Puerto-de-Veracruz

This jarocho tradition consists of bringing dancers of all ages together under the colonnades around the main square. It’s not unusual to see women wearing long skirts, high heels and decorative combs in their hair. From the restaurants and cafés you can observe this delightful dance and music spectacle.

Useful Information

These sessions take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 pm onwards in the main square.
