Museum of Occupational Medicine

This hospital, now a museum focusing on occupational medicine, was founded by British immigrants in 1908 to meet the everyday medical needs of the miners. The structure is a typical example of the architecture of the time, built of brick and stone with high ceilings and large windows. The entrance welcomes visitors with a large front garden. Inside, you can learn about the sicknesses that the workers got and the care they received. You can also see all the instruments that were used at the time.
