Remains of Hacienda San Miguel

The Hacienda is an enormous structure with a traditional clay tile roof from the end of the 19th century. It was once the house of Alexander Robert Shepherd, a US American, who earned the nickname “Magnate de la Plata” (Silver Magnate). The estate, also called Hacienda Shepherd, gives the area’s mining past a mysterious aura.
