Celebration of the Holy Cross
Fiesta de la Santa Cruz de los MilagrosSteeped in both mysticism and tradition, the Cross of Miracles Festival is one of Querétaro's most well-known.
It starts with a large gathering of Chichimec dancers who dance the concheros dance. They then make their way to Templo de la Santa Cruz at the top of Sangremal Hill. Legend has it, that’s where the town’s patron saint, James the Apostle, once miraculously appeared.
