Try the Wines From G Salinas Enoteca
It works like a kind of wine bar, with tables and chairs between the shelves. If you want you can order a bottle and drink it there and then (bear in mind they charge corkage). Every two days they open a different wine, to try it by the glass, the intention being to help people get to know Mexican wines. Don’t be surprised if during the visit you try Juguette, a Mexican wine made in Australia by the enologist from Monterrey Mauricio Ruiz Cantú.
You will find G Salinas Vinos in the Aviación neighborhood, and be prepared for a selection of hundreds and hundreds of Mexican wines, as well as mescal and artisanal beer.
Both stores are named after their owner, Gilberto Salinas, who often attends to customers personally. Whoever is lucky enough to meet him will get the complete experience: try, buy, and chat with him, one of Mexican wine’s great connoisseurs.
