Visit the Firefly Sanctuary

From June to August you can witness one of the country’s most fascinating natural spectacles in Bosque de las Luciérnagas (Firefly Woods). Here, you can see how these insects make it look like the almost 500 acres of trees were covered with Christmas lights. Entrance fees range between 100 and 200 Mexican pesos.
