Monumental Guitar

The Purépecha people were known for being exceptional artisans and merchants; the arrival of Don Vasco de Quiroga drew on this artisanal expertise and taught them the luthier trade. For 500 years, Paracho has proven itself as a source of musical instruments, especially guitars.

Proud of their labors, a monumental guitar stands over the Magical Town’s entrance in honor of their craft.
