San Pedro Apóstol Church
Opposite the main square, this church dates from the 19th century. However, a previous church was first built on this site during the end of the 16th century.
Dedicated to Saint Peter the Apostle, the church still preserves its original facade, although only the arches and the central nave remain inside. An interesting point of note is that the church is in the exact location of the settlement from which the Spanish launched their expansion into Zacatecas.
