Del Carmen Church and Convent

Right in the heart of Salvatierra, between Miguel Hidalgo and Juárez streets, stands this Tuscan Renaissance-style convent compound.

This building was built by Friar Andrés de San Miguel, the same architect responsible for Puente de Batanes bridge. It is considered one of the Magical Town’s most ornate buildings.
