Browse for Handicrafts in the Casa de los Once Patios
Shop for handicrafts, textiles, and accessories in this mansion that originally functioned as a Dominican convent.
Walk through its stone courtyards and admire the classic arches, columns, and fountains that were built in 1742, a legacy of the Dominican nuns. These days, it has been turned into a center displaying and selling an incredible variety of regional handicrafts. They include lacquered platters, baskets woven of tule rushes and reeds, copper pitchers from Santa Clara, wooden objects, clay pots, and textiles. Another place to get handicrafts is the Palacio de Huitziméngari.
