Benito Juárez Square
Plaza Benito JuárezThe landscape around Tacámbaro is an attraction in itself; it is filled with sugarcane, palms, and semi-tropical fruit trees. The gorgeous scenery creates sweeping views that unfold along the roadsides. In town, cobblestone streets run to Plaza Benito Juárez, also known as Plaza de Armas square, and to the Plazuela del Santo Niño square.
Benito Juárez Square is surrounded by buildings in the Michoacán’s traditional style and Cathedral of San Jerónimo stands on the western edge.
