Durango City

The capital of Durango is part of the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro (Royal Road of the Heartland). It features magnificent colonial buildings, especially its churches. Durango is also home to movie sets, and the city’s surroundings offer exciting ecotourism activities. Plus, you can enjoy delicious food in its markets and restaurants, such as the traditional beef stew known as caldillo durangueño.
