In the center of Guanajuato, on one side of the San Francisco Square, you will find an old two-story mansion whose patio is adorned with Tuscan columns and quarry stone arches. It is said that the Habsburg Emperor Maximilian I stayed here during his stay in the city in 1864.
Today the mansion is home to a vast collection of Quixote iconography, made up of more than 900 artistic works, amongst them paintings, sculptures, engravings and handicrafts.
Furthermore, activities such as cinema Mondays, literary Tuesdays, musical Thursdays and theater Friday and Saturdays take place here, among others. Check the monthly program.
